About The Salon

Mario Badescu was a Romanian-born chemist and cosmetologist with a vision. Not one to follow the crowd, he did extensive research in his laboratory and began creating his own line of botanically-based skin care products. He brought his formulations to Manhattan in 1967 and soon built an elite following. After all, good skin care can’t remain a secret for very long.
Mario’s single-room facility eventually expanded to become a 36-room salon where thousands of clients receive facials and various spa treatments today. Heralded as the salon that offers the best facial in New York City, many of our loyal clients are A-list celebrities who rely on our exquisite treatments to maintain their beautiful skin.
Regardless of status, every client receives the very best in skin care, customer service and attention from our experienced and highly trained estheticians. Their expertise in skin care is reflected in the happy, glowing clients that leave our salon with exceptionally improved skin—a product of facials tailored specifically to meet their skin’s needs.
In addition to classic European facials, our salon also offers a number of spa services that include massage, body wraps and body scrubs as well as several options for hair removal (including waxing, electrolysis and threading). Complete the full experience with a manicure and pedicure.

European Facials - Our European style facials are deep-cleansing treatments that address congested pores and dull, lackluster skin to leave you with a radiant, revitalized complexion.
