I have just recently started using mario badescu products and i am addidted!.. i love this product because it reduces the size and redness of you acne. You notice a difference! great thing to have! I usually put it on an hour or so before bed. I find it works better the longer it stays on and when you go to bed you roll around and it rubs off.

this has cleared up my teens skin as well as mine she no longer has a bumpy forehead and we can now work on resolving her scars. I would get pimples on my chin and cheeks. Not anymore I use this as it says to dab but i also swipe it around my nose and, forehead it really helps with the look of the pores also. I am very blessed that I have always had very good skin, however, even those with perfect skin get a pimple every once in a while and it freakes you out. I saw this advertised and decided to try it for those times when a wild bump would pop up. Just as soon as I feel that tell tale rise in the skin and the slight tenderness, I dab it on and wow - the pimple never even matures!!! This stuff is the most perfect problem solver ever!!!

I'm soo serious.. I am on the 14th day of using the Drying Lotion and I am so amazed! Just the first day I used it i could not believe my eyes... This product is soooooo great!!! I could not believe my eyes after one week of using this stuff!!! I'm not gonna lie, i have gotten a few pimples after using it but not nearly as much as i had before. Now i have been using it for about a month. My face is totally clear right this second... the total amount of pimples i have gotten since i started using this product is about7 pimples!!! Doesn't do much for cystic acne but on white heads they're gone the next day. Sometime you may have to apply it a couple of days for stubborn pimples but it still works. It was worth the investment! I had been reading about this product for years and I finally decided to try it last March. It has been amazing. The first few months I could not go to bed without q-tipping half my face with this. In the morning, almost all my pimples were gone, some larger ones would take a few days to completely disappear.
Some people complained to me that it didn't work but that must be because they're using it for the wrong type of pimples or because they're picking on them. I can't live without this product. During the day I use Drying Cream for really stubborn deep pimples.

Believe it or not this product was an absolute miracle for POISON IVY! I recently did some landscaping on my property and shortly broke out with a poison ivy/poison sumac rash. I looked like a freak. It was itchy, painful and extremely uncomfortable. My doctor gave me a prescription cream that worked well but seemed like it would take forever to completely clear my skin. I heard about Mario Badescu's infamous Drying Lotion through a friend and she said it's helped her with her acne, so I decided to try it. I've used Proactive in the past but it just doesn't seem to work. The first time i tried my friends drying lotion I felt it working! I got really excited and bought my own!! I will NEVER go back to proactive after trying MArio Badescu. This stuff works and it's so cheap for being a really good skin care products!! I registered today on this website - just so I could post a review about this product. I had heard about it over the years, but never bought it. I finally ran out of my perscription face cream from dermatologist. My skin has been fine, so I thought I didn't need anything special anymore. Sure enough a huge, discusting pimple erupted on my chin. (I don't mean to be gross - but it was a terrible one). I ran out to Nordstrom Saturday night to buy this. I used it Saturday night and again on Sunday. My skin looks so much better. It is not totally gone - but the pimple area really dried up. I can cover it with makeup and it doesn't look so bad. I expect it to be totally gone in a few days. I think this is a miracle product. It for sure worked. I am so glad I don't have to go back to dermatologist for an appointment and spend lots of $$ on a prescription ointment. Try it!

I was seriously skeptical when I first tried this lotion, thinking it was impossible for something so good to be true, but I tried it anyway. I put a little bit of the lotion on a blemish before bed one night and when I woke up in the morning the blemish had disappeared! I recommended it to my sister and some friends and all of them experienced a decrease in their blemish to at least half of its original size!! I hardly break out, but when I do, this Drying Lotion is my go to pimple zapper. I use this in the evenings and it usually takes me about 3 applications for my pimples to be completely gone. I really like this product, because it does not leave a pimple scar or discoloration. It just zaps the pimple and in 3 days my skin is back to normal, with no signs of a pimple ever surfacing.

I'm not kidding. Life changing. I thought as an adult I was done with acne. Not so much. But this lotion is like a miracle in a bottle. I had tried everything, everything to clear up the hormonal breakouts on my chin I have experienced for 15 years! I tried Proactiv, which just didn't work and had pretty much given up. I have used many spot treatments over the past 10 years, and nothing is as amazing as this! I'm unfortunately one that picks at my face, but I put this stuff over the pimple after I'm done destroying it, and it's totally flat the next day and barely visible, and gone by the day after. The first time I heard of Mario Badescu was when I was shopping at a cute little boutique in Old Town Pasadena. I bought this percurious product because my friend had recomended it. The first time I put on the lotion on a newly formed pimple, I was a bit hesitant of the smell of sulfur and it's benefits. But the next morning, to my amazement, not only was the redness gone, but the pain and swelling went down! I've literally searched the world for products for acne, from Biotherm, Obaji, and even Proactive Solutions, and NOTHING beats the healing powers of MB's drying lotion!!

Another MB product that does what it says it will do! I was initially alarmed at the strength of the ingredients, what with my sensitive skin. But a quick dip of a cotton swap and touch-touch-touch on my spots before bed, and the next morning they were GONE! Truly astounding! I was a believer in Mario Badescu products after my sister persuaded me to have a facial there. It wasn't until I was re-ordering (and ordering items that I received as samples) that I stumbled across the various acne products. I decided to order my 15yo daughter (she has always had problematic skin) a kit which included the Drying Lotion.
When I hit 30, My skin went crazy hormonal and I started getting breakouts. I tried her Drying Lotion one day...and then proceeded to steal ...umm...I mean "borrow" it on a regular basis.

I absolutely love Cosmopolitan magazine!! It is the womens bible to fashion, beauty, etc. Anything you want to know, please look in the Cosmo! One day I am reading Cosmo and came across Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion. It raved about how effective it was and how if you have a breakout, putting the drying lotion on will make it disappear over night. Me being a total health and beauty freak. I went on the Mario Badescu website. I must admit I was hesitant on buying anything from the website because I dont experiment with too many products when it comes to my face. I am an avid Neutrogena user. However, I was so curious on how good this product just MIGHT be. Well, I tell you! I put that bad boy on my face last night. I soon as I dabbed it on my little pimple, I could feel it working! I woke up the next morning and the area was just as smooth!! I was soo shocked. So now I am hooked! I absolutley love it. A little goes a long way so don tget out of hand with it, just a little dab on the spot with a Q-tip does just fine. I also received a little baggy with free samples, I thought that was soo nice. My friend told me about Drying Lotion and I have been a better person ever since. I must admit that I was using the stuff more than I was supposed and now see that I need Buffering Lotion too. I get maybe 1 zit a month....maybe, but when I do, I HAVE to kill it immediately. I used to rub hydrogen peroxide that I had dipped a cotton swab into, and you could imagine why that wasn't the greatest of ideas. So, this product works beautifully and I don't have to fry my skin to rid of an unsightly blemish. I also tried one of the masks and it left my face in a soft I had never felt.

I had heard people raving about this product about 5 years ago and hadn't really thought to buy it because I tend to be skeptical when people rave about things. I was also confused about how to use it because I was told you don't shake it (I hadn't thought to ask more questions - the obvious answer is you dip a q-tip! in it!). I finally used it and it does work well. Non-irritating, doesn't burn and dries the pimples up. If you have light or pink-tone skin I imagine you could even wear this during the day, but if you have dark or olive skin it is too obvious so you have to wait and wear it at night or when at home. My little one gets a kick out of it. She isn't talking yet but smiles and points at mommy's face when I have it on!

This is the first MB product I used. I saw it listed in an InStyle issue on one of its top 100 lists. I have always had trouble with acne. I liked this so much, I started using all MB products!

I just bought this product and started using it just days ago for the first time. I saw this product in different magazine's for years and always kept it in the back of my mind but never bothered to try it. Well i finally did, and after only a few days i have seen AMAZING results. For the first time in my life my reacurring acne is staying at bay. I can't believe i do not have to deal with huge blemishes on my face! I think i can kiss ProActiv GOODBYE! If I recall correctly, it was early 1999, when I was living in Maryland, when I came across this product in In Style magazine and had my first encounter with Mario Badescu.I called the salon and Gabby answered.She spent a great deal of time on the phone with me, listening as I described the condition of my skin—extremely oily and prone to breakouts—and recommended this and a few other Mario Badescu products (a cleanser, an exfoliant, and a toner).She suggested keeping this product on my whiteheads all day on days when I was not going to go out. When this and the other products that Gabby recommended arrived, I followed Gabby’s instructions and my face cleared up enough for me to feel considerably better about my face, and myself.From that point on, I dutifully ordered my products when supplies ran low and was thrilled upon arriving home in the evenings to find a package from Mario Badescu.
When I made it to the salon in March of 2002, I was thrilled to meet Gabby (who, by that point, I had spoken to numerous times) and promptly began having regular facials and finding out about the numerous other Mario Badescu products. At this point, now living in New York and using Mario Badescu acne products to clear up a minor spate of acne, I have returned to this product from time to time and it performs superbly every time.

I have been a repeat customer for this spectacular drying lotion. When all things fail, drying lotion comes to the rescue. I never had any success of any acne products except this one. It's absolutely a must have!

This is the most amazing product EVER! My boyfriend and I had planned a romantic evening, the night before I saw a pimple. I was devastated! I used the drying lotion over night, by the next morning it was hardly visible. I turned all my friends on it, and they swear by it too!

Got this product for my two girls as stocking stuffers. My oldest daughter has problems with blackheads, white heads, and occasionally, cystic acne lesions. This product produces amazing results dealing with all these issues. The blackheads and whiteheads clear up overnight, and the cystic lesions lose their redness, soreness, and are less swollen after one day, clearing completely in about 48 hours. The youngest has occasional breakouts related to her periods, and this product clears the pimples up in a matter of a few hours. Definatly recommend it!

I have heard of this product for several years and used to use it myself when I had a bit of a skin problem - just the occasional break-outs. It worked like a charm. Overnight success !
Then when my daughter got older (now) she is having a skin problem - a big one. She has used everything. We have spent tons of money. Yes, we tried Proactive too. I refuse to buy anymore for her. I bought her this (and bought myself one of course too) she has used this every night for 3 nights now and I already can tell a difference.

My 12 year old son has suffered from terrible breakouts for over a year.
