| Great for breakouts |
I have cystic acne and use this mask as a spot treatment, a total face mask, and an overnight mask. My cysts takes weeks to go away and are painful but this mask helps dry them out before it gets worse! I use it once a week on my t zone, i use it as zip cream while sleeping when I get a bad breakout, and I recommend it to everyone who gets cystic acne! Try it you will love it!

| Fantastic mask |
I love this mask and very highly recommend it. I have incredibly stubborn cystic acne. Not even accutane worked! Like recommended I apply it after cleaning and toning and after applying a layer of the buffering lotion. I only leave it on for 20 minutes, like recommended. It really helps keep my oil under control for about two days!

I was a bit skeptical about this product so I got it as a sample when I made my last purchase.
I suffer from Rosacea and part of that issue us having cystic pimples on my jawline. I put a dab of this stuff on the cystic pimples over night and BAM the net morning it had decreased in size. I did it again the following night and now they are gone! Usually it takes a month if not more for them to go away, and I hate it,

My mother bought this for me at Henri Bendel when I was fifteen and having terrible breakouts. This, combined with the Whitening Mask, cleared my skin up in no time, and has kept my complexion flawless ever since. | Using it as face wash |
This mask was so good, I started using it on a daily basis as my face wash. It is amazing. I have very oily skin, specially around my nose, and when i wash my face with it in the mornings, it gives me excellent control of oil by 5 or 6pm. Im on my third jar :D

| Definately Dries! |
There is no doubt this mask dries your skin, but it works very well for my oily acne prone skin. I moisturize well after using this mask and my skin looks much clearer the next morning. The mask does, however, smell like cigarettes. :/

this mask works well but the smell is awefull. when they say only put it on where you need it thats all you have to do. its not a full face mask. i use the healing mask every other day with it to keep my skin from drying out and looking great. i also use the moisterizer for oily skin and the bee pollen night cream. my skin has never looked better. these products really work great.

This product is amazing! My skin had never looked worse, my entire t-zone had errupted and was red, irritated, and broken out. I applied this mask over my entire face, and as soon as I rinsed it off I could see a difference, as well as two days, 5 days, one week later. My skin continued to improve. It does dry me out some, but thankfully you have wonderful lotions as well!

| Amazing! clears up skin fast! |
This mask workd very quicklyto get rid of some pesky blemishes that were going away very very slowly with using other expensive treatments.
I used the mask on some spots overnight and by morning the spots were very much reduced.
I also like that the mask is fine for sensitive skin.
I was using another brand of sulfur mask and lately was reacting badly to that with skin sensitivity and so waited to receive my ample of this and am amazed.
No problems at all with my skin burning with this product!
The smell is also ok, and is very "earthy" and natural smelling,it is a very light sulfur smell.
Your pores look very clean with this too!
I am definitely going to keep this in my house at all times!

when they say this is a drying mask that controls oil its an under statement it sucked all the icky oil from my skin and left me with a nice soft matte finish to my skin i loved it. but do follow up with a moisturizer of some sort to put the glow back. my fav is the one for oily skin.

This along with the Buffering Lotion is the only product that effectively treats my severe cystic acne breakouts. It cuts the healing process in half and even helps get rid of those awful nodule bumps left after it has healed. It normally takes months for my cystic acne to heal but this mask does it in weeks. Finally!

I've ordered this product for about 7 years. I've had cytic acne for about ten, and this product, especially during the summer, is CRITICAL. It is the only mask I've ever used that actually dries my skin enough to mitigate its oil production and prevent breakouts.

| Smells like pickle juice, but it works! |
I love the drying mask, it shrinks my pores, absorbs oil, and dries out zits! The only problem is it smells really weird, like pickle juice.

I'm 53 years old and going through the change of life and had been having the worst time with Cystic acne. I'd gone to the dermatologist and began taking Solodnx which did help with regular acne by not the cystic. I read the reviews and waited anxiously for the arrival of my product. I used it as soon as it arrived and by the next morning there was a visiable difference in my skin. I've been using it a week now and all that remains are a couple of brown spots since I have a dark complexion. I used along with the buffering lotion. When my oldest come home from college last week she had two pimples on the side of her face she put it on those two spots and by morning they were gone. She was amazed and impressed with the product.

| Would not go 1 day without it |
This mask is fantastic. I've had the clearest skin I've had since being on accutane years ago. I do think all the mario badescu products I've tried have contributed to the results but by far the drying mask is the key source. Now that my face is entirely clear I put the mask on problem spots and keep it there over night. I've also put the mask on in the morning and in the 10 minutes I've showered and gone through other aspects of my routine the product makes a difference.
I would not go 1 day without it.

| My favortie mask |
I love this mask so much! I have oily sensitive skin and suffered a hormonal imbalance three months ago that left me with terrible acne scars on my once clear cheeks. I was so desperate to soften and eventually clear my skin, so I gave this mask a shot. | The IT Mask |
This is definitely one of those essential masks that every acne sufferer should always have handy. I had relatively clear skin two weeks ago until I decided to purchase the Clarisonic brush and used it over the sensitive areas of my face, namely the sides of my cheeks. Well things were great the first two days but then my skin started to breakout with these red and painful bumps and I panicked. So I discontinued use of the brush and relied solely on manual washing and all of my MB products mainly the Acne Facial Cleanser, Special Cucumber Lotion, and the Drying mask. Results CLEAR and smooth within less than a week! that's right. But I'm certain that if this mask had not been part of my regimen I would still be struggling. The mask does what it's supposed to, without over drying your skin. It reduces redness and excess oils and dries up those pesky little surface pimples. Definitely recommended.

| Wonderful product for stuborn acne |
I started using this product and immediately noticed changes in my skin. I know this is not the way it is meant to be used but I put this on at night after the buffering lotion and accidently forgot about it, I woke up in the morning and the pimple was completely gone. I am very impressed! I use this and the drying cream and love them both, although I think that this product is my favorite, it seems to get the redness out quicker.

This can also be used on body acne (which is clearing up thanks to MB!). I put a small dab on a pimple about 25minutes before I get in the shower and they are clearing up faster than I can remember that they even existed. Thanks to this and the AHA botanical soap, my body is acne free.

I like this mask a lot! I bought it after reading the reviews and I have to say, they're right! Any Mario Badescu product with Sulfur in it seems to do wonders for me. The first time I used it, it worked like a charm! My skin was noticeably more radiant and my pimples were smaller. Although the mask looks like chocolate shake, do not be deceived! It does not smell anything like it. It does have a somewhat distinct scent but it doesn't really bother me that much. I would definitely recommend this product for those pesky cystic pimples. It dries them out in no time without really over drying or irritating your skin. Good bye, redness and inflammation! Good bye pimples!

| Really Amazing Results |
I will have to agree that the smell is a little rough at first, but the product is amazing. In the last month I have suffered from horrible breakouts and very painful cystic acne came along with it. I began trying numerous products in hope of a miracle. I have used this 3 times now in combination with the healing mask. When I wake up the morning after this mask my skin has drastically improved each time. I have had the best results since I started using the Mario Badescu line. I feel like I'm just around the corner from finding my old skin again. My old skin-but new and improved! I have read several reviews on here that claim "radiance" and it is so true! I have only been using the product for 6 days and can't believe how drastically my skin has cleared up.

I received a sample of this mask a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked! I have oily/(adult) acne prone skin and this mask has been awesome! You feel it do the work when it tightens (but is NOT uncomfortable!) and see instant results-skin that is not dull, looks tightened and very clean! This stuff gets right into the pores. I have ordered this product and can't wait to get it!

| The ONLY thing that gets rid of my clogged pores |
I have terrible, oversized pores, that are constantly getting impacted and clogged. This mask is the ONLY thing that i have ever used that will get rid of them. It smells like someone just lit and entire book of matches, but its worth it. I have spent loads of money on dermatologists and medications. This is the ONLY thing that works.

I just tried this mask for the first time. As most people will tell you, including the counter reps, it does have a strong smell. However, I like that it dries down and the scent fades away. Besides, once you learn what sulfur-based products can do for your skin you won't mind that sort of smell. My skin looked refreshed after using this mask. I rinsed thoroughly but you will still need to remove the residue with your toner so expect to use some extra cotton balls! It does not tingle or sting on the skin, which is important. Overall I am pleased with my sample and plan to purchase the full size (along with a few other masks).

My face is normally pretty sensitive, however this mask did not burn or make my face dry at all. What it did do was drastically dry out my pimples. A little bit of this mask goes a long way. I use it about 3 times week and am still using the sample I recevied from Mario Badescu over 3 weeks ago!

I love how this mask doesn't over-dry the skin and unlike most sulfur-based masks, this one doesn't stink. In fact it has a really nice earthy scent to it.
