I recently had a facial and the esthetician advised me to start thinking about anti-aging products, particularly those w/collagen for fine lines on my forehead. Can you recommend a moisturizer - both for day and a night cream - that would address this issue? My skin is dry and not particularly sensitive....Read Response (asked by Katelyn Q of aging, anti-aging, face, dry) |

I have been taking two chemotherapy drugs (Tarceva and Zometa). The good news is that they are containing the cancer, but they also dry my skin to a remarkable degree. I have tried cleansers, treatments and moisturizers from Nia24, Eucerin, Aveeno, DHC and Scosh, as well as Aquaphor. I am still so dry that my skin flakes off all over my body as well as my face. Any ideas about which products I might try?...Read Response (asked by Laura S. of Phoenix, AZ) |

First of all, we are glad you are feeling better. Since the two chemotherapy drugs (Tarceva and Zometa) you are using to control the cancer caused extreme dryness on the face and body, we can recommend a hydrating regimen that will soothe and nourish your skin. The Cream Soap may be used twice daily to gently cleanse sensitive skin types. Follow with the Chamomile Cleansing Lotion toner to help instantly soothe dry sensitive skin. The Chamomile Eye Cream may be used under the eye area morning and night. The skin around the eyes is very delicate, thin, and susceptible to damage. Wrinkles and fine lines are made more obvious when skin is dry, so keeping the area moisturized will keep it looking supple, and fine lines will be less obvious. Use the Complex Moisturizer With Vitamin E (SPF-20) daily after toning. It contains Vitamins A & E and Hyaluronic Acid to lock in skins natural moisture along with a high SPF for daily protection. Lastly, the Protein Night Cream is the perfect night cream for you. Intense moisture replenishing night cream enriched with Vitamin A and collagen to reduce the effects of aging. As for dry skin on the body, we would recommend the Super Rich Olive Body Lotion. Creamy, rich Olive Oil based lotion restores moisture and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky without a greasy residue. Leaves skin feeling supple and nourished year round.

I am 56 years old with fair sensitive skin. I’ve been receiving IPL laser treatments since January from the dermatologist for redness (broken capillaries) and brown spots from sun damage. I’m not on medication for any skin problem. I have combination skin and I rarely break out (usually as a reaction to a skin care product or make-up). ...Read Response (asked by Brenda G. of Maryville, TN) |

Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology enables the specialist to collapse the veins and broken capillaries without extending any damage to the surrounding layers of the skin. While having couperose skin and receiving this extensive treatment you must use products that will help to strengthen weakened capillaries and not irritate your skin any further. Washing your face with our Keratoplast Cream Soap will wash away light face make-up and also calm irritated blotchy skin. The Keratoplast Cleansing Lotion is a gentle toner that will also help to strengthen weakened capillaries. Our Hyaluronic Eye Cream will prevent dehydration and moisture loss. Using the Collagen Moisturizer (SPF-15) helps your skin to retain its own moisture while providing a daily sun protection. Protein Night Cream will preserve elasticity as well as leave your skin feeling soft and nourished. To moisture, exfoliate and rejuvenate dull, lifeless skin our Enzyme Revitalizing Mask creates a healthy, dewy glow. Applying the Cellufirm Drops before your moisturizer will help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and also protect your skin from dryness, heat and pollution.
