I have used Mario Badescu for many years and now have a daughter who is 10 years old and is showing signs of acne on her forehead. She has little bumps on her mid forehead. My question… is she old enough to start using these products? If so what do you recommend so that she can begin a daily routine?...Read Response

Thank you for your interest in Mario Badescu Skin Care. Since your daughter is very young I would recommend that she uses just a couple of products and to keep her regimen simple until she enters her earlier teen years. If your 10 year old daughter is showing early signs of minor bumps and blemishes she may be experiencing a bit more oil production, especially on the t-zone area. I would suggest that she use the Enzyme Cleansing Gel twice daily to gently cleanse her skin then follow with the Aloe Lotion toner. The Aloe Lotion is a very soothing, mild toner with 2% alcohol to remove excess oils and impurities, for best results use twice daily after cleansing. I would start off with these two products first then consider expanding on her regimen within the next couple of years.

| My skin can be oily and dry. Very oily in the t-zone and can be dry around the sides of my nose and lips. Weekly breakouts and blackheads on my chin and nose areas while I also get tiny whitish bumps on my forehead. Please help!...Read Response

Being your skin is oily in some areas and dry in others, you have combination skin, the most common skin type. Because each area has its own needs, combination skin is the most difficult to care for properly and requires the proper selection of skin care products. We recommend a regimen using our Seaweed Cleansing Soap containing small grains of seaweed to gently exfoliate the skin while cleansing. Followed by the Seaweed Cleansing Lotion, a mild astringent to disinfect and soothe skin while removing pore clogging dirt and oil. To help retain your skins natural moisture, use our Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream which will reduce the look of dry, tired eyes. Apply the Oil Free Moisturizer (SPF-17) during the day to help hydrate your skin while adding daily sun protection, then at night using the A.H.A. & Ceramide Moisturizer will rejuvenate dull, congested skin. Two to three times a week the Flower & Tonic Mask will deep clean your skin while lifting dirt and impurities that cause blackheads and breakouts.
