Skincare For Men: Are You Exfoliating?

Sure, men’s skin is noticeably thicker and typically oilier than women’s, but that doesn’t mean that men can skimp on the essentials: your skin needs special care, too! In fact, while women are generally advised to exfoliate 2-3 times a week, men can and should exfoliate more often than women.

In addition to the basics – cleanser, moisturizer, and aftershave lotions – men need to incorporate an exfoliant into their regimen. Scrubs help remove any pore-clogging buildup responsible for dullness, inflammation, blackheads, acne and ingrown hairs. For maximum benefits, be sure to exfoliate after cleansing and before shaving. Massage the exfoliant in circular motions on dampened skin for one to two minutes before rinsing completely.

Just a few days of exfoliating will make a huge difference in your complexion and shaving routine. Skin will be noticeably brighter and clearer, and every shave will be both closer and smoother.

Skincare for men is just as important as it is for women!
