Dry Hands

HANDS

It happens every year, usually around the end of September—my soft, hydrated hands start to look excessively dry and rough. With the first frost, they’ll start to crack and bleed. I spent years being too embarrassed to show my dry hands until the return of Spring. The ONLY way to prevent this evil cycle from happening again is prevention prevention prevention. I've learned to keep my favorite hand cream on me at all times and to apply after every hand washing.

When I first came to work at Mario, I noticed that Nicole (our Public Relations Manager) kept a jar of the Special Hand Cream with Vitamin E on her desk at all times. I would soon learn why. It absorbs beautifully and has a really lovely whipped texture. (It’s not greasy but it is effective.)

I haven’t been afraid to show my hands in a long time. In fact, last year I even got a manicure at the height of Winter, shamelessly drawing attention to my hands.

Which hand cream are you using?
