A Red Carpet Skin Care Regimen

The Oscars are tonight! If I were a celebrity (no harm in dreaming, right?) and attending tonight's event, I would prep my skin for an enviable glow with the following regimen:

Cleanse

I’d start off by washing my face with our Seaweed Cleansing Soap. My combination/dry skin loves the creamy texture and it leaves my skin looking and feeling refreshed.

Mask Application

To temporarily tighten my face, I apply the Temporary Lifting Mask.

Tone

The next step is to apply the Seaweed Cleansing Lotion with a cotton ball or pad. It contains disinfecting Witch Hazel to help unclog my pores. I truly feel a difference in my skin after I’ve applied this toner.

Treat

For a red-carpet worthy glow, I cannot go without the Vitamin C Serum. It is formulated with L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), which has brightening properties and Hyaluronic Acid to help hydrate the skin. It is a glow in a bottle.

Moisturize

On the face and neck, I put on the Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF-30.

Eye Cream Application

To treat the eye area with water-binding ingredients to help soften the skin and encourage youthfulness, the Hyaluronic Eye Cream is my go-to product. As its name indicates, it contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate.

Lip Treatment Application

For a pre-lipstick/lip gloss treatment, I dab our Lip Wax on my lips to help soften and nourish. I can almost hear my lips thank me each time I put it on.

Refresh

After I apply makeup, I spritz my face with our Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater. It gives me a dewy finish and sets my makeup. Before I step out of the limo and onto the red carpet, I give my face another quick spritz to freshen up before I see screaming fans and paparazzi snapping away with their cameras (ok, my imagination may run a little too wild).

You don’t need to be an A-list celebrity to follow this regimen. If you have combination/dry skin, these eight steps will help give you a red-carpet worthy glow!
