Product Spotlight: Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream

“Every man or woman over the age of 21 should apply an eye cream in the morning and in the evening, as part of the daily routine. There are no exceptions.” ~Mario Badescu

Such were the wise words of Mario Badescu himself. And now that I’m 21, it’s time to get serious.

My teens were reserved for flings. I was 18 when I first dipped my toes into the world of skincare, and 19 when I met my first love, the Ceramide Eye Gel. But you know how puppy love romances go: they’re hot one day and ice cold another, so there I was, dabbling in eye cream here and there but never fully committing. He was lovely and did wonders in helping de-puff tired eyes, but infatuation could only bring me so far. By the time I hit 20, I started a fling with Hyaluronic Eye Cream and fell for just how hunky and hydrating he was. We went steady for a while before falling into that on-again-off-again pattern. I loved Hyaluronic, but I couldn’t help but think back on all the qualities I fell for in the Ceramide Eye Gel.

Shortly after my 21st birthday, the two loves of my life confronted me with an ultimatum. Who would it be? I couldn’t use both, it was neither fair to me nor the boys involved (after all, steady wins the race and consistency is key to a healthy long-term relationship). My first love was all sorts of cool and never failed to be the perfect morning pick-me-up; something about him was just so refreshing. My second was more mature and seemed to leave a positive impact on me.

What to do when a girl’s forced to choose? I was young, brazen and 21 – and decided it was time to meet someone new.

Enter the Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream. There he was, in all his perfectly smooth, balmy glory: the perfect balance between the Ceramide Eye Gel and Hyaluronic Eye Cream. Lightweight but still hunkily hydrating, and being that he was packed with Vitamin C, never failed to brighten my mood. We’re taking it day by day, and so far, so good.

This could be the real deal.
