Couperose Treatment Center

There is treatment for Couperose, so consult your dermatologist for proper diagnosis and help. All the same, skincare is essential. Do develop a good skincare regimen and stick by it to help strengthen weakened capillary walls and reduce the appearance of redness.

Again, keep in mind that skin types can still vary between dry, combination, and oily even with Couperose skin. When selecting products, it is important to keep your skin type in mind.

Look for products containing Keratoplast. It has been medically shown that this botanical extract aids in the treatment of Couperose skin by improving the strength of weak capillary walls. Should inflamed skin be a symptom of yours along with broken capillaries, try products listing chamomile as one of their main ingredients to help soothe irritated skin.

Moisturizing is crucial in reducing the appearance of redness. It is advised that ingredients with hydrating properties (like oatmeal) be used to help fight redness while still retaining the skin’s moisture.

Always wash your face with lukewarm water. Very hot or very cold water can cause blood to rush to the face, leading to more redness.

    1. Cleanse. Massage our Keratoplast Cream Soap in circular motions on wet skin, avoiding the eyes. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry – don’t rub! – to avoid leaving the skin red or irritated. Repeat twice daily, once in the morning and evening.

    2. Tone. Follow the cleanser with our Keratoplast Cleansing Lotion for best results. This extremely gentle toner helps to hydrate and soothe the skin, and strengthen weakened capillaries while removing any residual dirt and oil. Twice daily after cleaning and pat drying your skin, dampen a cotton ball or cloth with the lotion, wiping in an outward direction until the cotton comes up clean.

    3. Moisturize. Gently massage in our Kera Moisturizer after toning.

    4. Protect. For extra protection (i.e., sporting activities/events, winter climate, etc.), gently massage in our Kera-Moist Cream before your moisturizer or night cream. This cream may be used in lieu of standard moisturizers if your skin is very sensitive or extremely dry.

    5. Calm and soothe. On clean skin, apply a thin layer of the Azulene Calming Mask. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to avoid drying out and irritating your face. Follow with a moisturizer or night cream. Repeat 2-3 times a week, or more often if necessary.
