Shipping / Returns

Which carriers do you use?

We ship using UPS, USPS and FedEx. For orders shipped within the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii, we ship with USPS. We also deliver to PO and military Boxes using USPS. 

All international orders are shipped via FedEx. 

What are your shipping fees?

Standard U.S. Shipping
We offer free shipping on orders over $35 that are shipped within the U.S. (no promo code is necessary). If your order is under $35 and is shipped within the U.S., a standard shipping rate of $4.95 is applied.
Expedited U.S. Shipping
We’ve partnered with FedEx to bring you the lowest possible shipping rates for Next Day and 2nd Day Shipping, which can be viewed at checkout. Please keep in mind that shipping prices will vary based on your order details (number of products ordered and total weight of the products) and shipping destination.

I can see my tracking number, but there haven’t been scans to show that it shipped or that it has moved.

This is normal! Please allow 24 hours to see movement on your order.

Do you ship internationally? What are the fees?

Yes, we do! We are able to ship to over 30 countries internationally and have partnered with FedEx to bring you the lowest shipping rates possible. Shipping fees can be viewed at checkout and will vary based on the shipping destination, number of products you ordered, and total weight of your package.

Are there any duties and taxes for my order when shipping internationally?

International orders may be subject to import taxes, custom duties, and fees levied by the destination country’s customs department upon arrival. When ordering from, the recipient of the package is considered the importer of record and is therefore responsible for any import fees that may have incurred.

I am in Canada, do I pay duties and taxes with my order?

You're in luck! All taxes and duties are included in your shipping fees—nothing is due upon arrival.

Do you ship to PO Boxes or military addresses?

We do! We use USPS to deliver to all US locations including Hawaii, Alaska, military, and PO Boxes.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Processing and shipping can take 2-7 business days from the date your order is placed. All orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 3PM EST will process the next business day; orders received after 3PM EST on Friday will process the following Monday. Packages will be delivered to your home or business Monday through Saturday. Some delays are to be expected during major holidays or in the case of inclement weather.

HELP! I received an email my order shipped but I can’t locate it through the carrier.

If you placed the order within the last 24 hours, kindly allow 1-3 business days for your order to leave our warehouse. Once the order has arrived with the carrier, please allow 24 hours for the information to update. All orders shipped within the U.S. will arrive within 2-7 business days from the date shipped.

Help! The package is marked as delivered and I did not receive it!

Please contact us as soon as possible. We will go ahead and trace your order with USPS to geographically locate where your package was delivered. Please allow 1-4 business days for this investigation to be completed.

We do ask during this time to check all around the outside of your residence, check where the carrier normally leaves parcels that do not fit in the mail receptacle, and lastly, ask other family members, roommates or neighbors if they have your package.  

What is your return policy?

For products purchased directly from our website, we accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the purchase date (shipping and handling not included).

I purchased my product(s) at another retailer, and I am unhappy with it. May I return it to you directly?

Regrettably, we can not offer returns for products purchased at retail locations, other websites, or department stores. Please contact the retailer for their return policy.

I would like to return my order within 30 days of purchase. What are the return instructions?

Products should be securely packaged and shipped back to us at the following address. Shipping must be paid by the purchaser.

Please include a copy of your invoice along with a note specifying whether you want to: return this product for a full refund, return it for a comparable product, or obtain store credit from Mario Badescu Skin Care.

Do you offer prepaid return labels?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer prepaid returns at this time. Please see our return instructions for directions on how to return or exchange your product(s). 

When will my return be processed?

Once the package arrives to our return center, it takes 4-5 business days to process. Please allow additional 5-7 business days for the return to show up on your bank statement. 

I gave you the wrong shipping address and need to change it.

If you need to change an address or product, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that all changes are possible, but we will try our best to!

Why am I unable to ship products to my country?

Regrettably, we are unable to ship products to Brazil, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Spain, and Turkey at this time. 


Help! I need to make a change to my order!

If you need to change an address or product, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that all changes are possible, but we will try our best to!

I placed an order but didn’t receive a confirmation email.

Please check your junk mail just in case—sometimes our confirmation emails are marked as spam by accident!

Order confirmations and information can also be found under "My Account" on Simply sign in and click the tab titled "Orders." If you haven’t received an email and don’t seen an order on this page, please contact us immediately.

My package arrived damaged what can I do?

Please keep the damaged products and do not discard the items. Take photos of the damaged products, including the box and invoice, if possible. We would need proof of the damage before we process the exchange.

Why I was charged twice for my order?

Every successfully placed order on our website, will have a confirmation number and email sent. If you have attempted to checkout, and the transaction was declined or attempted but not submitted, you may see a temporary hold on your bank account or credit card. The charges should drop off your account in a few business days. For questions about the availability of your funds please contact your bank directly in a few business days.

I received the wrong sample products with my order.

I am pregnant/breastfeeding, is it safe for me to use your products?

We always recommend contacting your doctor’s office to request a list of ingredients that they recommend avoiding during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. We suggest this because this list can vary slightly from doctor to doctor and only your physician knows your medical history.

For your reference, full ingredient lists can be found on each product page.

Can I use your products if I am on prescription medication or treatments from my dermatologist?

We’re more than happy to work with you in finding a skin care routine that suits your needs! Please give us a call at 1 (800) 223-3728 for a free consultation with one of our skin specialists.

Once you’ve received product recommendations, we suggest consulting with your dermatologist or physician before changing your skin care routine. When speaking to your doctor, please ask for a list of ingredients that should be avoided.

Are you an organic or vegan skin care line?

We are not an organic or vegan skin care line. We do have some products that are considered vegan friendly. 

If you have specific questions about your products, please don’t hesitate to contact us for further assistance.

Do you test on animals?

Mario Badescu does not test our products or ingredients on animals, nor do we ask others to test on our behalf.​

I have gluten allergies, are your products or facility gluten free?

We do recognize that the demand for gluten free products is important to some of our customers. Some of our products do contain ingredients derived from wheat and soy. Although we do have some products that would be considered gluten or soy-free, we are not a gluten-free facility. We make every attempt to sterilize equipment between production, but please note that our products are manufactured on the same machines.

I just started using your products, when can I expect to see results?

Results vary since everyone's skin is different, so there is no specific time table, but if you stick with the regimen or product(s) consistently, you should start to see a difference within a few weeks.

Help! I have a nut allergy.

We do have some products that do not contain ingredients derived from nuts but we are not a nut free facility. Please note, that although we do make every attempt to sterilize equipment between production, our products are manufactured on the same machines.  If you should need assistance with our products, please contact us! 


I have heard such wonderful things about your company! How can I try your products?

We’re so happy to hear you’re interested in trying our products! If you are a first time U.S. customer, lease take our SKIN ANALYSIS to receive a list of recommended products best suited for your skin type and needs. Once you have completed the questionnaire you can receive your samples for a $2.95 shipping fee. 

All full sized product orders, come with the opportunity to sample 3 products of your choice. The selection menu can be found in your shopping cart. 

I’ve consulted with a Mario Badescu representative and taken your skin analysis, but the product recommendations I received from both were different. Why is that?

Our questionnaire provides a basic introduction to our line. Consulting with our staff will provide one-on-one advice that will suit your specific skin care needs.

How do I get free samples?

We offer complimentary samples to first-time U.S. customers (all you have to pay is $2.95 for shipping!) who take our SKIN ANALYSIS. Once you’ve completed the questionnaire, you’ll receive an option to order samples of your recommended regimen.

How long does it take for my samples to arrive?

Please allow 2-3 weeks for your complimentary sample regimen to be delivered.

Where do I select my 3 free samples on regular orders?

You can find the sample selection box in your shopping cart. This can be located above the Promo Code box. Your sample selections will also display on the right hand side of the screen, under your products, during checkout.

Thanks for my birthday promo code! How do I use it?

You can apply this code during the checkout process. Please enter the code number (including dashes), in the section that says “Promo Code” on your shopping cart screen.

When do birthday promo codes expire?

Birthday promotion codes expire 45 days after the send date.

It’s my birthday month. Why haven’t I received a promo code yet?

Make sure you provide your birthday information when you create your account with us! Birthday promo codes are always mailed on the day of your birthday.

Why can’t I use my Birthday Promo Code with a promotion code?

The $10 Birthday Promo Code is considered a promotional discount. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional discounts or gift with purchase offers on We allow the use of one promotion code per order. 

Can I use the Birthday Promo Code in the salon?

Birthday Promo Code can only be used online only for products.

What are your terms for the Birthday Promo Code promotion?

*$10 off promotion valid for 45 days after receipt of the birthday email. Place an order of $10 or more and enter your Promo Code at checkout. $10 will be deducted after the promo code has been applied; one-time use only. How can I tell if the discount code was applied?

After entering your promo code, the screen should refresh and a message will appear under the promo code box that says "The coupon code was applied". Gift with purchase offers will be shown in your shopping cart. Promotional discount amounts can be found in your order total information to the right side of the screen. 

How can I remove a promotion code?

You can edit the promo code box at checkout.

Can I use or combine multiple promotions?

Promotions cannot be combined. Only one promotion code can be used per order.

I have a gift certificate for the salon, can I use it online?

Gift certificates issued from our salon, that are sent by mail, can only be redeemed in the salon or by phone orders. To use this certificate please, call us at 800-223-3728 to place your order or make an appointment. 

E-Cards, sent to the recipient's email, for a dollar amount can be used on or in our salon. 

I would like to purchase a gift certificate. Why am I being charged a shipping fee when you offer free shipping?

Gift certificates are sent by FedEx and require a signature upon delivery. To ensure that your gift makes it safely to the recipient, this fee is charged.

Can I customize an E-Card?

E-Cards can only be sent in the given dollar amounts or packages provided.

What are your terms for promotions?

Promotional offers are applicable for online orders only, at Offers may not be used in combination with any other offer(s) and are not valid during certain promotional periods. Exclusions apply. Gift Certificates, E-Cards and Salon services/purchases, items noted as not eligible, or items that are not in stock at the time of purchase are not eligible for the promotion. Can I choose the products in my free gift?

I am trying to place an order and have changed my information in checkout, but it still won’t change. HELP!

Before you complete your order, please go to "My Account" and remove or update any email addresses, shipping addresses, or telephone numbers that are no longer valid. Once everything has been updated, you can continue through checkout. You can also add or edit shipping and billing address on the checkout page.

My order (not including sample orders) won’t process and is now marked as "Pending". How can I complete the order?

I would like to make an appointment, can I do that online?

How do I know which facial is suitable for me?

We always suggest making an appointment for our signature European Facial. This basic facial consists of facial steaming, extractions, and a mask. Once you settle in with your aesthetician and she analyzes your skin, she will suggest the treatment(s) that she feels will be the most beneficial to your skin in its current condition. We will be able to accommodate treatment upgrades during your European Facial appointment.  

How much earlier should I arrive to prepare for my salon appointment?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

What types of payments are accepted at the salon?

We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and Mario Badescu gift certificates and E-cards. Gift certificates and E-cards must be presented at the time of service. Kindly note that gratuities are very much appreciated—and can only be left in cash.

How can I leave a tip?

Gratuities are very much appreciated and can be left in cash or you can pay by credit card. To leave a tip by credit card, you can select that option when you check out on the device.

How can I reschedule my appointment?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us at (212) 758-1065 at least 24 hours before your visit.

I would like to book a treatment for my son/daughter, how old do they need to be?

We recommend beginning facial treatments at age 16. Please note that due to space constraints, appointments will be separate and children are not permitted to stay in the treatment room with you.

I am pregnant, can I still get a facial or massage?

We do offer facials! Please keep in mind that you’ll be laying on your back during the treatment, which may or may not effect your level of comfort. If you’re in the final trimester of your pregnancy, we typically do not recommend getting a facial due to the position you’ll be in throughout your facial.

At this time, we do not offer prenatal body massages.

Do you offer men's services? Are your facials and spa treatments suitable for men?

Yes! All our spa services are unisex and can be adjusted (if needed) to better suit men.

Do I need to shave before coming in for my facial?

We do recommend shaving the morning of your facial appointment.

Do you offer couples massages or appointments?

All treatments will be done separately. We do not offer couples massage at this time.

I have an event coming up, when should I book my facial?

We suggest scheduling your facial at least a week to two weeks in advance of your event. 

Are friends allowed in the treatment room while I get a facial/other services?

No outside visitors are permitted in treatment rooms; this includes children, pets, significant others, etc. If you do plan on bringing pet(s) or children under the age of 10, please make certain there is another companion present to chaperone them during your appointment.

How can I get stickers?

You can either get a sticker with regular orders or sample orders. You may choose a sticker as one of your samples at checkout with regular orders! You can find this under Mario Badescu Sticker in the sample selection menu. If you are new to Mario Badescu Skin Care we suggest taking our online consultation here: Skin Analysis. This will lead you to a short questionnaire that will help us determine which products from our line are best for you. Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will be able to obtain your samples for a $4.95 shipping fee. Please check the box to request a sticker at sample checkout. Complimentary samples available for first-time US customers only. Samples subject to availability.
