3 Skin Ingredients You Might Not Know About!

Thyme

Despite being a crucial ingredient in a number of our anti-acne products (our Acne Facial Cleanser and Anti-Acne Serum, for example), Thyme Extract often gets overlooked. It actually boasts potent acne-fighting abilities given its antibacterial effect on Propionibacterium, the bacterium known to cause breakouts.

Thyme also possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties (it contains Vitamin C) that make this herbal extract especially ideal for acne-erupted skin.

Bee Pollen

Bee Pollen is an antioxidant-packed superfood. When used as a skin ingredient, Bee Pollen’s high Nucleic Acid and Vitamins A, B, C, D, and E content provides anti-aging and antibiotic benefits. Antioxidants help fight against free radicals as antibiotic effects help prevent breakouts and reduce inflammation and scarring associated with acne.

You'll find Bee pollen in our multi-tasking, anti-aging, skin-firming Cellufirm Drops.

Honey

It’s easy to see why Honey is one of the oldest remedies in health and beauty history. As a natural cleanser and powerful humectant, Honey boasts antimicrobial, antioxidant, healing, moisturizing, and skin-softening properties that make it incredibly effective in anti-aging, acne prevention, and anti-acne skincare. All skin types are left with a radiant glow with regular use.

Honey clarifies skin by absorbing impurities and decongesting pores of acne-causing buildup. Natural antiseptic properties enable it to help soothe inflammation while encouraging existing breakouts to heal faster. The best part? Honey does all this without over-drying the skin; instead, it imparts just enough moisture to keep skin looking – and feeling – healthy.
